Mission Rocks

This area is about one hour from St. Lucia resort and well worth the trip. A picnic area on the beach leads to flat rocky platforms containing potholes with marine flora and fauna.

At the summit of the dunes, at Mission Rocks Outpost, there is a picnic ground from which views may be had over the Lake system over Catalina Bay towards Charter's Creek. Five kilometres north of the picnic area on the beach is Bats Caves which are populated by large numbers of fruit eating bats.

The Mziki Trail takes visitors on a three day ramble over three different routes where they can experience the Eastern Shores at close quarters.
