The camp is a joint venture between KwaZulu Wildlife and Wilderness Safaris. A portion of the revenues from the camp is ploughed back into the local communities. It is situated on one of the finest stretches of coastline in South Africa.
There is superb scuba diving on the inshore reefs and on summer nights, huge leatherback and loggerhead turtles come out of the sea to lay their eggs. There are nature walks through the dune forest or to nearby pans and vleis.
Five two bedroomed chalets, each bedroom with four beds. There is a bar and dining room with meals either being taken there or under the stars.
There are also self catering facilities. Each chalet has a deck that is located just below the canopy of the local dune forest. A wooden boardwalk connects the chalets with the beach.
