The topography is similar to that of the adjacent Mkuze Game Reserve. There are game drives, walking trails, fishing, night drives and hunting.
Mammals include wildebeest, baboon, elephant, giraffe, impala, kudu, leopard, hyaena, waterbuck, rhino, zebra, monkey, warthog and reedbuck. There are also over 200 species of birds.
