Abu Madi Game Ranch
(475ha)
Upper Divider

The ranch is situated in an area of typical northern Zululand acacia savanna and while the Msegane river which flows through the ranch does not flow all year, there are always small pools of water.

Hides near the pools have been constructed for bird and game viewing and guests may spend the night in the hides. There are also day and night drives and a knowledgable guide is available to accompany guests on walks.

Natal South Africa 2010Warthog, impala, kudu, nyala, wildebeest, zebra, reedbuck and jackal are some of the game species.

Accommodation: the lodge is a cluster of thatched cottages sleeping fifteen in five rooms. There is a lounge/diningroom, swimming pool and a fully equipped kitchen. A reed boma is where guests take their evening meals around a log fire. Guests are required to bring their own food and towels.
