The client specializes in traditional forms of soapmaking so the appearance of the website emulates an Edwardian advertisement with the emphasis on sepia and red.

Dumelabotswana specializes in custom made tours to the Okavango. The website permits the clients to update the tours through a MySQL database.

Several domains can be updated simultaneously if the database table is shared between them.

Drizit provides Hazmat cleanup services as well as selling a variety of related equipment. The products are stored on a MySQL database so are easily updatable. ECommerce is via vcs.co.za.

Escorted BMW motorcycle tours throughout South Africa. The website header design nicely emulates sunset in the bushveld.

Safari operators, Okavango, Botswana. The look and feel represents the remarkable sunsets there. The site is equipped with a flyout CSS menu, Flash slideshow and customizable pullquote box.

Hotel, weddings and functions venue in Mkuze, Zululand. A well known stop-off point in northern Zululand, the Ghost Mountain Inn website is shortly to be redesigned to incorporate new technology and marketing.

The current website incorporates an animated header graphic and a German version.

Civicus is an international human rights organization with its headquarters in Johannesburg. The brief was to clear up the morass of the previous website and incorporate several satellite websites.

Voortrekker History - a short treatise on the reasons for, the events during and the consequences of the Voortrekkers' Great Trek. This is a personal website, created as a result of my own interest in local history.

One of the first clients of this business and with a website now in its fourth incarnation. Both .com and .co.za versions exist and act as a good indicator of their respective fortunes on google.com and .co.za. The .com website is almost always #1 on google.com and never appears on google.co.za. The .co.za website ranks currently at #10 in google.co.za and is slowly creeping up from #123.

This website was taken from obscurity to #1 in Google in 1998 which is where it ranks today.

A classic small hospitality business in St. Lucia. It struggled for a while but now ranks at #4 in Google.

The clients reside overseas. The site covers two selfcatering villas on the iSimbithi estate. The URL is selfcateringsouthafrica.co.uk - a bit of a mouthful but good for SEO.

Herbal soaps with an African twist.

Ultralight LDV/Utility Vehicles- dropside, tip, transporter passenger vehicle. These vehicles employ a small motorcycle front end with a dropside bakkie. Sebenza also sells small scooters. #4 on Google.

Christian Home Schooling organization. This site is a Joomla CMS website to permit client updating.

Self-catering beachfront cottages on Sheffield Beach (Dolphin Coast). The trading name is Sea Cottage but the domain is beachcottage.co.za for SEO. The site currently ranks #1 in Google.

Website Designers based in Durban. This is an old Warthog Web Design website - version three if I am not mistaken. It was the first to use a three column layout.

Journalistic column, Johannseburg. The client wanted a single image home page with dramatic colours.

National Marine/Still water lifesaving organization. This is version number two and a lot more useful than the first. It is a static website (circa 2000) when a CMS website would have been more credible.

Short term insurance brokers, Johannesburg. The site was designed to the client's spec and uses the spec. branding. A neatr and tidy website that uses Javascript for the animation.

Hemp clothing and other accessories from Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. A simple website.

Provincial tourism website tourism attractions, history and Zulu Culture.

Accommodation in the Drakensberg, Battlefields and Midlands. This site is several years old and in need of an update. It uses AllWebMenus (javascript) for the navigation. I would not use this method again because of search engine and browser problems. As a result, a mimic menu in plain text is at the base.

Teaching organization Durban. A website with a single image home page - death for search engines. We always try for the highest search ranking. Once this has been achieved, some liberties can be taken with the design.

Sauces and condiments for the food service industry, Durban. Version two of the minnies website and shortly to be upgraded yet again. There are 60 products that are statically coded. The new website will hold these details on a MySQL database for easy editing. There will also be an area for clients to submit recipes using the products. Ranked at #1 in Google.

Tour operators, St. Lucia specializing in inbound southern Africa tours. This site has matured over the last five years and is now more focussed.

We were approached by the client to create a South African tourism website specifically for those attending the 2010 World Cup. FIFA of course shut down all those websites but the 'future home of' graphic remained. This graphic has been copied (without permission of course) for many different uses ranging from immigration websites to a graphic for cellphone downloads.
